This realtor wanted a business portrait that included his business partner. Though I've photographed the family dog many times, this was the first opportunity I had to include a beloved animal in a business portrait. These two show homes and are often side by side and what a better way to show who you are and what your business is! What a way to see properties and envision your home with this beauty! I thought this was a great way to think creatively about what you need in a business portrait.
A typical head shot, suit and tie or formal portrait is not for everyone! This session was at a coffee shop in Alameda, Ca for a designer. This type of session says so much more that just what you look like! These images can be used not only for a profile image but also website, blog and promotional materials.
Sometimes you just need a new business portrait. Not that anything is wrong with the old one, but you change, hair changes maybe a wardrobe change. These images are about 4 years apart and it's a slight difference but enough that a new one was needed. You don't want people to not recognize you or tell you that your photo doesn't look like you. More often a professional photo is needed over a dated or unprofessional snap shot that is being used, but even with a professional photo, it is a good idea to keep it current.
